PATRIA MOLDOVA STANDS IN SUPPORT OF RAVNOPRAVIYE
Chisinau. The Patria-Moldova international organization led by Andrei Tarna has decided that at the forthcoming 2009 parliamentary elections in Moldova it will support the Ravnopraviye [Equal Rights] Socio-Political Movement headed by Valery Klimenko.
MOLDOVA TO PAY 6.7 MILLION EUROS ON SUIT LOST IN ECHR
Chisinau. Moldova has lost a suit in the European Court of Human Rights (ЕСHR) and will have to pay a record-breaking sum of 6.7 million euros. Until the present the highest sum, which Moldova paid on suits, lost in the ECHR was the case of the Oferta Plus SRL against the Moldovan Government - 2.5 million euros.

MNA WILL HAVE 52 MANDATES IN NEXT PARLIAMENT, URECHEAN CLAIMS

At the 2009 parliamentary elections, the oppositional Moldova Noastra Alliance (MNA) will receive approximately as much as in 2005 – some 34-35% ballots, which will enable it to have 52 mandates in the 101-member Moldovan legislative forum, MNA leader Serafim Urechean stated at the news conference in Infotag today.
