MOLDOVAN CUSTOMS OFFICERS FOUND $100 THOUSAND IN A BUS COMING FROM ODESA

Moldovan customs officers and prosecutors found $100 thousand in a bus traveling from Odesa. The 50-year-old driver of the vehicle stated before the inspection that he had “nothing to declare”. The money was hidden in the niche of one of the steps at the entrance to the bus. The currency was seized and the driver was detained for 72 hours.
