MOLDOVA WILL RECEIVE 18.2 MLN. EURO LOAN FROM EBRD FOR REPAIR OF RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE

On Wednesday, the government approved a draft law on the ratification of an amendment to the Agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) concerning the republic's railway infrastructure. This will allow Moldova to receive the third tranche of financing from the EBRD in the amount of 18.2 million euros (the first tranche - 12 million euros, the second - 11 million euros).

In July, 85% of electricity for the right bank of the Nistru River will be purchased from the Moldovan Power Plant, and more than 8% - on the Romanian exchange ORSOM. The remaining about 6% will be provided by local combined heat and power plants (CHPPs). According to the INFOTAG agency, this was announced on Thursday by the state-owned Energocom, which carries out the purchase of electricity.
