​MOLDOVAN PRESIDENT TELLS STUDENTS FROM GAGAUZIA ABOUT BENEFITS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

Moldovan President told students from Gagauzia about the advantages of European integration. This was the subject of her speech at Comrat University.

"In the European Union, Gagauzia will get many advantages - security, protection of rights, predictable institutional relations with the center, investments, jobs and welfare... For centuries we have been living all together in our common home - Moldova, and we have always found a common language. It could not be otherwise, because we have a common vision of what we want our country to be. We all want our children to have quality education, to be successful in life, career, to speak several languages... to earn good money in an honest way. We want the laws to be equal for everyone, so that in every village and town, Moldovans, Gagauz, Bulgarians live better with their beautiful traditions...," Sandu said.

The President also emphasized that joining the European Union is "very beneficial for the whole Moldova, including Gagauzia".

Because in the European Union diversity is encouraged, all languages and culture are preserved. There are 24 official languages in the European Union, and all of them are protected," the head of state emphasized.
