Moldovan authorities consider the incident with a drone, which allegedly attacked a military unit in the Transnistrian region, as a provocation. According to INFOTAG, Prime Minister Dorin Receaan stated this.

“We faced yet another routine provocation. Let's pay attention to the society's reaction, which already understands the reality. These provocations can no longer cause panic or fear,” said the Prime Minister, noting that Russia supports such provocations.

The Reintegration Bureau also stated that “provocations continue” in the Transnistrian region.

“As mentioned before, there is a series of provocations in the region aimed at sowing panic and tension, on order to draw attention to the region. Only law enforcement agencies authorized by law, which, however, do not have access to this area, can investigate and determine the circumstances,” the Bureau said, noting that competent authorities are analyzing all emerging images and information.

On Friday evening, April 5, the “MGB” of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic announced, “On April 5 at 14:35, a kamikadze drone attacked a military unit in the Rybnitsa district”.

“The target was a radar station, which suffered minor damage, and there were no casualties. An investigative operational group is working on the scene. A criminal case has been initiated,” the statement said.
