The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has published on its website a list of possible localities where residents of the Transnistrian region will be able to vote on 20 October. According to ‘INFOTAG’, these are localities on the right bank of the Nistru River, which will be available for voting by residents of the left bank in the Moldovan presidential elections and during the constitutional referendum.

Transnistrian authorities have banned the use of the term “Transnistria”. On Wednesday, deputies of the Supreme Council of the unrecognized DMR unanimously voted for this legislative initiative of Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky. A free amusement park GagauziyaLand opened on Sunday in the Gagauz village of Congaz. Its construction took about a year, all works were paid for by a private investor.

The leader of unrecognized Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselski believes that the main threat to Moldova's security is illiterate actions of its politicians, false statements and underestimation of the situation. As INFOTAG reports with reference to mass media of the region, on Thursday at the events timed to the 32nd anniversary of the entry of Russian peacekeepers in Transnistria, he said that “one should always strive for peace and operate with facts”.
