SOCIAL DEMOCRATS PROPOSE RAISING MINIMAL PENSION SIZE TO 1,137 LEI A MONTH
The extra-parliamentary Social Democratic Party of Moldova [1.86% ballots at the July 29 elections] is proposing to raise the state-provided minimum pension up to 1,137 lei a month as from July 1, 2010 [currently – 400 lei a month]. For this to achieve, the party has worked out a draft law on the subsistence level and on ensuring of state-guaranteed social protection, and is going to offer the bill to parliament before June 16.
HUMANISTS NOTE INFORMAL GROUPS’ AND SECTS’ INTERVENTION IN EDUCATION
The Party of the Humanists of Moldova draws the authorities’ attention to the intervention of informal groups and religious sects in the education.
