Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM) candidate for Chisinau Mayor Zinaida Grechanaya will win in the June 28 second round of local elections, show the results of an opinion poll “Chisinau citizens’ sociopolitical preferences on the eve of the second tour of local elections”, conducted by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of Moldova.

The Patria Party of Moldova has called upon Chisinau citizens to cast their ballots on June 28 for Zinaida Grechanaya, the Party of Socialists candidate though not a party member.

The poll was conducted within the period of May 20-30 among 1593 Moldovan citizens. The rate of error is of ± 2.8%.

Singers and culture workers expressed their outrage by the situation in the country and called Moldovan citizens to come to a protest, organized by the Civil Platform “Demnitate si Adevar” [DA, “Dignity and Justice”] on June 7.
