MPs of the first Moldovan parliament, who signed the Declaration of Independence of Moldova (278 out of 380 deputies), have demanded actual Parliamentarians to display responsibility for statements they make and to provide them with their due status.

The MPs of the 1st parliament (1990-1994), who signed the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Moldova on August 27, 1991, feel themselves humiliated and insulted by discussions in the actual Parliament upon a Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova’s (LDPM) initiative to provide privileges to those who signed the Declaration.
