INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES CALLING ON ELECTION CONTESTERS TO SIGNING A PACT FOR MOLDOVA
Independent candidates running for the Moldovan Parliament – Victor Stepaniuc, Vasile Lupascu and Sergiu Iachim – have called upon all participants in the ongoing election campaign to sign a Pact for the Republic of Moldova – a convention of national consensus for the sake of the development and modernization of the country. In their words, readiness to sign the Pact has already been stated by a half of independent candidates.

The Moldovan Association of Sociologists and Demographers keeps on saying that the next Moldovan Parliament will consist of 6 factions – of the Moldovan Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party, the Liberal Party, the Moldova Noastră Alliance, and the Humanist Party, as per the opinion poll called “Early Parliamentary Elections: a View from Both Dniester Banks” carried out on November 11 through 20 by the Moldovan Association of Sociologists and Demographers.

The CBS-AXA Center for Sociological Researches and Marketing has carried out its final opinion poll in the current election campaign, which revealed in particular that the Liberal Democratic Party is demonstrating an evolution trend, while the Communist Party is somewhat losing its electoral pace: namely, only 2 weeks ago 21% citizens were ready to cast their ballots for the LDPM and 39% for the MCP. And presently, the figures are 28% and 35%, respectively.
