On May 10-15, the Embassy of Germany to Moldova will hold a “Moldo-German Week” to show how the Germans of Bessarabia, the present-day mainland Republic of Moldova (without the Transnistrian region), used to live here in 1814-1940.

The Moldovan population’s trust in governing parties and the opposition has remained approximately at the level of November 2013, according to the Vox Populi opinion poll findings in March 2014 that was undertaken to clarify the influence of events in Ukraine on the socio-economic situation in Moldova.
