The Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections, “Coalition 2009”, has strongly recommended Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin, Parliament Chairman Marian Lupu and Prime Minister Zinaida Grechanaya to repay to the State Budget the money used for electioneering, and the means must be refinanced necessarily from the ruling Communist Party’s electoral fund.

Chisinau. The Moldovan Government will have to return the Dacia hotel in Chisinau to the Belgian investor, who privatized the hotel earlier, and to pay extra 374.2 thousand euros or to pay 7.2 million euros. The European Court of Human Rights (ЕСHR) took such decision on Tuesday.

Chisinau. The European Court of Human Rights will compel the government of Moldova to introduce amendments into the Code of Criminal Procedure pertaining to the tapping of citizens’ telephones. The just passed ECHR judgment will come into force in three months.
