The Promo-Lex Association, which is a member of the Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections “Coalition-2009”, will conduct the monitoring of the election campaign for early parliamentary elections of 29 July 2009 in seven electoral districts – Floresti, Rezina, Dubasari, Anenii Noi, Causeni and Transnistria.

Chisinau. "Actions by the former leader of the Moldovan Centrist Union (UCM), Mihai Petrache, due to whom a large number of UCM members included in the election list announced their withdrawal from the party, are aimed at destroying the formation," UCM leader Vasile Tarlev has said. Tarlev was elected as UCM chairman in September 2009 but has not been registered with the Justice Ministry as leader of the party.
