Professor Ion Mereuta, Chairman of the Party of the Humanists, organized a news conference in Infotag today to present a copy of File #11756b R-2948 – Declaration of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova. The original of the priceless document vanished from the Parliament last April 7, when the building was subjected to a pogrom, fire and plundering in the course of the memorable post-electoral protesting riot.
