Chisinau. Last 12 months, the Republic of Moldova demonstrated only very moderate achievements in combating corruption. Accordingly, it has managed to move only one step up in the Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2008 classifier, and is presently standing on the 112th position among 180 nations included into the CPI research.
