MOCANU CASE HAS BEEN FABRICATED, LAWYER CLAIMS
Chisinau. Lawyer Ion Dron maintains that the case of his customer Sergiu Mocanu, the leader of the Popular Action Movement and former Adviser-at-Large to President Vladimir Voronin, has been obviously fabricated because the prosecution has not yet provided whatever evidence of what Mocanu is being charged of – involvement into the April 7 disturbances in Chisinau.
OLD LAWMAKERS SUGGEST CONVOKING GREAT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The Parliament-90 Association, uniting the deputies of the independent Republic of Moldova’s first parliament (1990-1994), are proposing to convoke a Great National Assembly on August 29, i.e. on the 20th anniversary of the first such all-nation rally that took place in Chisinau’s namesake central square on August 29, 1989.
