The Personalitatea Association has recognized Ambassador Dirk Schuebel, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, as winner in the “Friend of the Country” nomination of a Moldovan annual premium called “Personality of the Country”.

Citizens of Ukraine, residing permanently in Moldova or those who happen to be here next Sunday, are welcome to take part in the election of the country’s Supreme Rada [parliament] only at two polling stations – one to be opened in the Ukrainian Embassy in Chisinau and the other in the Ukrainian consular office in Balti city, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Moldova, Sergey Pirozhkov, said at a news conference at Infotag on Thursday.
