MINORITIES WANT RUSSIAN TO BECOME OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
Several ethno cultural organizations of Moldova support the proposal of the Social Political Movement “Ravnopravie” to put the issue of assigning the Russian language the status of state language on the referendum. A corresponding petition to Acting President Mihai Ghimpu is signed by chairpersons of 20 social associations of ethnic minorities of Moldova. The collection of signatures is continuing.
