GOVERNMENT APPROVES ACTION PROGRAM FOR MOLDOVA'S REINTEGRATION FOR 2024
The government on Wednesday approved a program of actions for Moldova's reintegration for 2024. According to INFOTAG, the total budget will amount to 15 million lei.
Out of the total amount, 13 million lei are to be allocated for the implementation of 26 different development projects in the settlements in the security zone (renovation of social institutions, thermal insolation of schools, creation of sports grounds, etc.) and financial support for the activity of Moldova's delegation in the Joint Control Commission (250 thousand lei).
Another 2 million lei will be allocated to the Dubasari district council “to partially compensate the expenses incurred by the owners of agricultural lands located behind the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway, due to “the toll illegally collected by Tiraspol when passing through unauthorized checkpoints”.
By March 1, 2025, the Bureau for Reintegration will submit to the Ministry of Finance a general report on the implementation of this Program.
As INFOTAG previously reported, the government annually adopts a program of measures to reintegrate the country. In 2023, it also envisaged 15 million lei for 26 projects, of which 25 projects for 12.9 million lei have been implemented. In total, 550 projects worth more than 175 million lei were financed from 2011 to 2023.
