Vasile Tarlev, former presidential candidate and chairman of the Future of Moldova party, has demanded a recount of votes in both the referendum and the presidential election. At a briefing on Wednesday, summarizing the results of the campaign, he called it “undemocratic.”

The head of the presidential administration, Adrian Balutel, has made new proposals regarding the organization of the debate for the second round between Maia Sandu and Alexandru Stoianoglo, amid “the boycott announced by many TV channels” because of the candidacy of journalist Gheorghe Gonta as moderator.

Moldovan presidential candidate Alexandru Stoianoglo has accused Maya Sandu's entourage of trying to avoid debates.
