Moldova will receive a grant of 10.7 million euros from the German government through the German Development Bank (KfW) to develop the local business environment. The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization informed INFOTAG that the funds will be provided for the implementation of the project “Fund for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Moldova”.

Moldova's economy will grow by 2.5 percent in 2024, down from the previous forecast in which the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization envisaged GDP growth of 3.5 percent. According to the INFOTAG news agency, the updated macroeconomic forecast published by the ministry shows that nominal GDP this year will be 320 billion lei ($17.9 billion), down from 300.4 billion lei in 2023.
