MOLDOVA LAUNCHES THE THIRD STAGE OF THE DIGITAL EDUCATION PROJECT "CLASS OF THE FUTURE"

Within the framework of the Open Day "Class of the Future" in Moldova, the third stage of the national digital education project was launched. The project is funded by the Orange Moldova Foundation and implemented by the University Information Center with the support of the Ministry of Education.

According to the ministry, within the third stage, 10 educational institutions will be selected on a competitive basis, with the exception of the capital’s institutions. They will receive modern digital equipment, furniture and decor items for the project.

The project "Class of the Future" - is being implemented within the framework of private and public partnerships. It involves the Government of Moldova, the Competitiveness Project of the Republic of Moldova, funded by USAID, the Government of Sweden and UKaid, as well as the Orange Moldova Foundation. The project partners are State Pedagogical University, Tiraspol State University and University Information Center.

The project started three years ago, covering 31 schools in Moldova.
